 Mountain Laurel plays New England-style contra and square dance music and works with numerous well-known callers to provide exciting and pleasurable events for a variety of music and dance venues. 
 
 Our monthly public dance in Sheffield, MA
- the 4th Saturday every month except December, June, July & August -
has been running continuously since 1978. The dances have been held in the Sheffield Grange, on Route 7 in Sheffield all these years; however as of the first dance in 2008, January 26th, the dances will move to Dewey Memorial Hall, which is also on Route 7 in Sheffield, just 1/2 mile south of the Grange.  We are Don MacLean (fiddle), Bonner McAllester (hammered dulcimer) and Joe Baker (guitar);
the three of us have been playing as Mountain Laurel since 1983.		 
 
 We are available also for parties, weddings, public dances and other musical events.
