  Joe Baker:
is Mountain Laurel's guitarist and retires from "semi-retirement" to call once again. He's written a number of the tunes that Mountain Laurel plays, and some of the dances he'll call; he loves painting landscapes in oils, pastels and watercolors. Though he no longer makes his living as an instrument maker, he's gradually building himeself a new guitar and a new fiddle (as if he needs one of either!).
Bill Olson:
from Maine, where he is a member of 3 bands - Ti' Acadie, Scrod Pudding and Jimmyjo and the Jumbol'ayuhs. A prolific dance writer as well as dedicated caller and guitar player. And he loves to travel.
Fiona DeRis:
lives here in south Berkshire county where she runs a fantastic catering busines featuring Seasonal, Organic, Local foods (SOL Kitchen). A dancer for many years, and a caller for a few years now, Fiona brings an irresistible spark to the dance.
David Kaynor:
from Montague, MA, where he is the mainstay of numerous bands, dance series, workshop programs, private lessons, and everything musical. David tours nationally on a regular basis both as a fiddler and as a dance caller. Though we have known him "forever", we still know it is a special treat when he comes to call.
Jon Greene:
is a Great Barrington resident with far-flung children and far-reaching ideas, which coupled with his lightning wit and expansive dance repertoire make for a lot of fun on the dance floor.
Ted Crane:
has been calling dances from his home base in western New York for decades, always known for a smooth selection of dances that suit the dancers in attendance. Ted also has been running an internet dance information service, with enormous database, for decades. See www.tedcrane.com and his DanceDB.
Ralph Sweet:
lives in Enfield, CT, but likes the chance to drive to the Berkshires to call his favorite contras and singing squares. Look for a non-stop evening of interesting dance figures with Ralph.
Jeff Walker:
from Hyde Park, NY, is a geology professor at Vassar College as well as a farmer, musician, caller, father figure in the Walker Family Band, and local expert and author about the life and writings of philosopher/naturalist John Burroughs.
